William Björklund And I

Generally speaking, I am strictly against cross-blog references. I am also against "outfit of the day" posts. William Björklund of What to put in a Manbag has done both of these.

Do we all agree that there will always be exceptions to all of the rules that we have in the world and in society? We all agree on this fact. There are exceptions to the rule. WB is one of these exceptions. His blog is such an exception that I am willing to create a "cross-blog reference" post to prove this. I am very flattered that he has mentioned me in his blog, or no. I am not. I am honoured that I have been given an exclusive post in his superb blog.

Maybe you will think that I am writing that he has a good blog just because he happens to be one of my readers. That is not the case. I don't think that you, my readers are that stupid. You should know by now that I wouldn't diminish myself to that level. If something is shit, it is shit and there is no need for me to try to sell this shit as chocolate.

Mr. Björklund uses the English language in an excellent manner. His tone and style of writing is close to flawless. He has an excellent taste and he is evidently very intelligent, he enjoys my blog and that should be sufficient evidence of that. He possesses very well developed skills in design, well above your average teenager, making him an elite in his field and age-group.

What would you guess that the picture above is? No, it is not a new cigarette brand by Philip Morris. It is a creation of Mr. Björklund.

He is up to date on our world. One could say that he writes about daily issues and other things he feels like writing.
I would personally say that I blog about  thoughts I have, as you have probably noticed, these thoughts being mostly elitist. I write about events, people, and general phenomenon's I do not approve of, or simply hate. That is the "blog-path" I have chosen and it works for me. I get to steam off my frustration using this blog.

What I want to get to is that if I would write about style, design, music, gadgets and TV - my blog would be very much alike Mr. Björklund's.

Isn't it a waste of internet bandwidth having two blog's writing about the same things? I think it is merely an unconscious decision by both of us to discuss different aspects of life. And both of us are doing a heck of a good job doing exactly this.

Oh well, anyways, who is John Galt?
